AFI

Hi everyone.

Today I’d like to write a lil sth bout the music I love.

Let’s start with AFI.      
                                                                                           

Some Wiki facts:

AFI (A fire inside) is an American Rock band from Ukiah, California, formed in 1991. They have consisted of the same lineup since 1998: lead vocalist Davey Havok, drummer and backup vocalist Adam Carson, with bassist Hunter Burgan and guitarist Jade puget, who both play keyboard and contribute backup vocals. Of the current lineup, Havok and Carson are original members. The've contributed to the modern melodic hardcore and post-hardcore genres and revolutionized goth punk.



Now my opinion.


I love AFI because of the progress they've made since their beginning. I love how you can hear, from the first to the latest album, how they all changed and how it influenced the music they made. How they've grown. I love how I can always hear new memories, emotions and power in the lyrics and in the band's performing.
I love how I can find asong to follow my mood whenever (for e.g. while i was passing my driver's test, "Gir's not gray" saved my -then- over-panicking brain from exploding).
Besides... That Davey Havok... man that guy's smart.
